MEMBERSHIP

The Guild currently has many members in over 12 countries. Quillers Today is the Guild's magazine, which is issued three times a year and contains designs, news from local groups, articles and pictures.

The Guild has an excellent archive collection, which can be seen at the annual display and sometimes at some local venues.

Level 1 Accreditation can be sought by members who are in their third consecutive year, or more, of membership (i.e. have joined the Guild and renewed their subscription at least twice). As long as you are a careful quiller, who has practised the main shapes and can quill to show it, it's well worth asking for details and sending in the quillings needed.

Level 2 Accreditation is for those who are very experienced quillers. You can ask for details from Jane Jenkins.

Local representatives hold workshops and meetings at which new skills are learned and ideas exchanged. Regional Reps have a list of their members so, if you are visiting another area and would like to contact quillers there or to find if there are any antiques in the area to visit, you could write to the Rep in that area. You could also make enquiries in writing to the committee.

Each year, the Guild holds an annual display of work, where there are opportunities to enter competitions and see the displays of work from the regions. All members are invited. It's your chance, as members, to hear about and vote on issues and decisions, and nominate and vote members onto the Committee; to have your say.

The membership year runs from 1st November and current rates are as follows:

There is an INITIAL MEMBERSHIP FEE of £3 (which is included in the first year's subscriptions listed below). All of your further years' Individual Member subscriptions will be without the £3 initial fee.
