WELCOME

Quilling, also known as paper filigree, is the art of rolling narrow strips of paper and then shaping them to make the most exquisite designs. Projects can range from simple gift tags and cards to elaborate pictures, 3-D models or the decoration of boxes.

The Guild, formed in 1983, aims to promote the art of quilling and the knowledge of quill work. You don't have to be an expert to join the Quilling Guild - most of our members are simply people who are enthusiastic about quilling. They come from all walks of life and ages range from 7 to 80 plus. The Guild holds an annual display of work in the UK and organises an International Festival of Quilling every 5 years. Representatives also arrange meetings and workshops throughout the year. The Quilling Guild is a Registered Charity, Number 1123927.

Welcome to the Quilling Guild's website and I hope you enjoy all you see. Here, you can read all about your Committee , where you will see who they are and how to contact them and the Guild. Do have a look at the information about Accreditation 2008.

We have slightly amended the AGM competition rules to clarify them, since those shown in Spring QT. Find out more about the 2008 AGM , Competitions to enter, and the revised rules for you to follow. There are new categories this year, giving even more of you a chance to find success, or simply to enjoy joining in.

There is a look back, too, at the International Festival in Autumn 2007.

We are now a Registered Charity. Please find more details in the News.

Happy Quilling!.
